Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes All Over The Body

Hello,
I recently have had some sort of allergic reaction to something. I have an itchy rash all over the back of my neck, my entire back, hips, in between breasts, on my ankles, shins and one of my arms. The initial breakout happened on Nov. 10 and got extremely bad on Nov. 12 & 13 with itchiness that caused me to scratch until I had broken the skin. I still have the bumps and the itch. I have been referred to a dermatologist but I can't get in for a month. Please help. Thanks.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain sudden appearance of itchy rashes all over the body can be probably due allergic reaction to some unknown allergen while other cause can e Scabies that is a tick infestation infection..
In case if you are unable to consult a Dermatologist I would suggest you to consult an Allergist or an Infectious medicine specialist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and also necessary investigations as per the suspected cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can take anti allergics like Allegra or benadryl and apply a steroid ointment over the bumps..
Cool compresses or cold water bath can also be relieving..
In case if scabies is diagnosed the physician can advise you anti-mite or mite killer drugs like Permethrin and Lindane lotion..
