Anytime i have sex with my girlfriend i develop an itchy rash on my groin area that gets worse every day most time it clears of after taking antibiotics, but i seem not to know the right antibiotics that works. I end up taking different ones before it finally goes

I can understand your concern.
You are having sexually transmitted infection (STI).
Your groin region itchy rashes after sexual intercourse is suggestive of STI more.
So not only you but your partner should also evaluate for STI.
So consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of your rashes and your partner's genital examination because possibility of infection transmission from your partner is more.
You both will need appropriate antibiotic after examination.
Avoid perspiration and moisture in private parts. Keep proper hygiene of private parts. Wash genital area with warm water and betadine.
Use condom during Intercourse if you don't want pregnancy.
