Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On The Hands , Fingers And Feet

Hello. I have an itchy rash all over my hands, fingers, feet, and it s randomly spreading in other areas. I had a dermatologists do the scraping and look under a microscope, and she said it s not scabies. My son also has a rash all over and she diagnosed his as viral. She did not give me a diagnosis though and it s getting worse. It s the worst on the tops of my hands and fingers. Is it possible that she missed diagnosed??

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes on the hands , fingers and feet. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like contact dermatitis, eczema, angiomas , seborrheic keratosis, psoriasis and boils. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper personal hygiene and apply petroleum jelly to affected area. You should take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl and apply cold compresses on affected area . If condition doesn't get improve the consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin patch test , allergy test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , immunosuppressants and corticosteroid ointment .
