Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On The Legs And Ankle

I am 17 weeks post op ankle surgery...tib fib fx...screws and plates each side. last week I developed a red itchy rash on inside incision, and on ankle and leg....none on the outside incision. I have changed NOTHING...soap, food, clothes, etc. Calms down at night, flares back up during the day when I am on it and when it gets warmer from socks and clothing.

Hello
Yes you can take Benadryl with clindamycin.
Benadryl is an antihistamine.
It will take care of skin allergy and will also reduce the chances of reaction with clindamycin.
Also apply calamine lotion.
This should help you.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
