Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Bumps When Diagnosed With Shingles

I had a small dose of shingles 30 days ago, since then everyday I get red bumps that itch, once I itch them they stop itching, and are just red, my lower neck more like my spine is stiff the last 3 days, thought I slept wrong. I returned to dr 2x they thought it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I took for the shingles, I used prednisone and a medicated lotion, seem to help but now everyday I get a random itchy bump, sometime just one but today there were 3. I have a dermatologist appointment in Jan, only other issue is my joints seem sore. I have never ever had any rashes or reactions to anything before. I am 46 years old female

hello......

You have red vesicle of shingles that can treated by calamine lotion.
For pain relife analgesic can use.
Incubation period of shingles that one 2 to 3 weeks.

Local antibiotic application can use over vesicles.
Steroid can use for pain relife and decease inflamation of vesicle.

This vesicles are contaginous.
In varicella zoster infectio symtomatic tretment can use.
Rehydrate your body by taking more water intake .
