Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Colored Rash On The Leg
Don t have insurance so here it is , I was running then I fit a huge pitch/sting my gastrocnemius part of the leg so you know exactly where it is happened two days ago . Got super itchy went away not hurting at all but it has a white center smallest dip in skin but has red ring around the white with some small discoloration around it might be because I tried squeezing the white stuff with no avail so it s not puss or anything le that so it looks like dead tissue maybe was in pool night yesterday night . Put some liquid to kill the germs that may lay on it . What s my next plan of action to see if this is serious or not ?
Hi. As per your case history you are having mild eczematization on leg. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
