General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your father has developed itchy skin without a rash and also he is losing weight, it is important that he has his pancreas and bile ducts checked.
An abdominal ultrasound would be one of the first imaging examinations and also he may need some blood tests such as liver function tests and lipase, amylase.

According to the results, the doctor will determine the further course of action.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.

Regards,
