Suggest Treatment For Itchy Spot On Inner Left Thigh

I have a nickle to quarter recurring size area on my left inner thigh. It looks similar to a bug bite or welt. It itches. It comes for a day or two then goes away. This has been occurring for a couple months now. Any idea what it could be and if I could try something OTC to get rid of it. I ve had it for a couple months I figure I ll give OTC a shot before going in to see a doctor. I don t have insurance right now. :(

Hi,

There are several options for treating an itchy spot on the inner left thigh. These include applying a hydrocortisone cream or ointment can help reduce inflammation and itching. Take an antihistamine, this can also help to reduce itching and inflammation. Avoid irritants as it is essential to prevent any irritants that may be causing the itching, such as certain fabrics or soaps.

Apply a moisturizer and keep the area moisturized as it can also help to reduce itching. Keep the area clean and dry. It is important to note that these options may not work for everyone, and if the spot is painful, swollen, or shows signs of infection, it is best to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
