Suggest Treatment For Itchy, Swollen And Pain On Inner Thigh Area
On Wednesday pm while i was teaching i felt a sting om my inner thigh. It became very swollen and extremely itchy...I have asthma and couldn t breathe so i started Prednisone and iced the area, used my inhaler...By Saturday it looked worse,,,not painful, extremely red and itchy and has become as big as a orange..I went to a patient first and the MD told me she wasnt sure if it was a spider bite or a bee sting that I was doing all the right things...I increased the prednisone with not much relief and I cant take large amounts because of my stomach, I am also icing it and i did start an antiobiotic but she said to stop because it was not infected... feeling scared dont know what kind of bite it is and the prednisone is just not doing the job, what do i do.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having local allergic reaction to something poisonous bite.
Along with prednisolone take antihistamine like Benadryl or Levo-cetrizine for few days.
Apply lacto-calamine locally.
You can do ice pack as well.
Ok and take care.
