Suggest Treatment For Itchy Welt Behind Leg Of Child
Hi, I have a welt of some sort on the back of my leg. The area around it itches a little bit. I went night fishing a few weeks ago and got several mosquito bites. But i got home from work Monday with this welt, and i don t know what it s from or what to do. Obviously, i m not dying, lol. But i d still like to know. I clean houses for work if that helps answer that question

The itchy welt is probably related to an allergic reaction. The allergic reaction can be caused by many allergens, so I can not specify what have caused the welt. The allergic tests can help to specify the allergen. Meanwhile, I recommend using an antihistamine such as Benadryl to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest using a steroid cream such as Hydrocortisone cream for local application.
