Suggest Treatment For Jaw And Ear Pain

Boyfriend 66 yrs old, jaw pain left side, inner ear pain severe seen by two hospitals in ER treated, diagnosed different Dx: Left Trigeminal Neuralgia prescribed Gabapentin 100mg, 1 capusle/night x 1 week, then increase to 2 capsules/night. Prior Er visit said Dx was fluid in inner ear canal Rx Prednisone 20mg Tab/day/4 days (on 6/15/16), causing the pain over 10 on 1-10 scale, pain returns and has been ongoing for approximately 10 days now. Rx Hydromorphone 2mg 1 tab Q 4/hr/prn + Ibruprofen 600mg/Q/8hr for inflamation as needed+ pain, Rx Tramadol 50mg 1-2 TabQ 4-6hr/prn. Hx angina, COPD, CHF, DM II, 3 stents in arteries on left ventrical side angina, carpal tunnel x 2, GERD, pinched nerve in upper spine, Lichen Plantus chronic. Need advice to go back to another Er different hospital? Repeated visits back to Kaiser 6/7 discharged from ER, returned 6/13. Once to Loma Linda 6/17 admit in ER one day then discharged. Pain over 10 scale says it lifts off the mattress. Using heating pad, Tens Unit on upper back/neck tension, tried ice. BP elevated to 249/114 ranges BS within normal ranges. Prescript given to get Oxygen for home use saturated in mid 80 s-low 90 s. Takes a lot of med on reg basis; Lipitor, Plavix, Coreg, Bidal, Humalog 8U, Aspirin, Levemir 25U/night, Metformin, Paxil, QVAR, Albuterol, Atrovent, Cardizem, Nitro/prn, Cozaar . Suggestions?
