Suggest Treatment For Joint Pains And Swelling In Arm

i am 45 years old women. I have been having joint pains and swelling in my arm, foot, shoulder etc. and these have developed one by one in last 1 month. My ANA and Anti CCP tests are negative. The doctor says i have rhemuetic type symptoms but am not suffering from rheumetic problem. He says these may be pre menopause issues. i am worried about the Rheumatism. what more i need to rule out 100% rhemuatism. till now i have been consulting a medican specialist since he was treating me for thyriod for the last 2 months. should i consult some other specialist also? Please advise
