Suggest Treatment For Knee Locking And Popping Leading To Injury

i have been troubles with my knee locking walking while i am doing physical activities.. and when this happens, i have to pop it back into place.. and recently it has caused me to injure my knee further while snowboarding.. what do you think is wrong.?
