Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain Due To Ligament Tear

Sir im a 17 year old boy frm delhi. 6 mnths back while playin cricket i had a coliision wid one of my heavy frnnds wich lead 2 a serious injury in my knee. it got twisted very badly. I wanst able 2 walk properly for a mnth. A x-ray showed dere was nthng related 2 my bone. I took tablets wich my doctors told & applied gel. But the problem is that i can walk well briskly but cant run. I referrd 2 a phsiothrpsist & he said it mite be a ligament tear or a meniscus injury. I went thru a IFT course frm da physiotherepist for 10 days. Now the course is over. He has suggestd me some exercises wich i regularly do. But da problem is that i dont noe what to do bcoz i cant run. Can u plzz tell if it wud need a surgerey or it can be easily treated wid the exercises............ bcoz it has been 6 mnths & i hvnt been able 2 run back again.............
