Suggest Treatment For Knee Swelling

i have a swollen knee for about 2 weeks know and pain..went to the docter and sent me for a sonogram,he thought it was a blood clot,came out neg.then send me to see a ortho.and had xrays done came back good,but he send me for a mrI,have to go thursday..i wonder what i really have??
