Suggest Treatment For Knots In The Muscles Of The Leg

my 27 yr old daughter has knots along some muscles in her legs. ankle area, quads, i t bands. she walks a lot drinks lots of water, doesn t use a lot of salt. they are painful to the touch and hurt when she walks on some muscles. she can feel them along muscles, some are reddish in color, and have almost bruised swelling around. she had these before several yrs ago, but went away be the time she was able to get into see a dr. I m thinking she needs to get in and get them seen thru ultra sound (x ray won t see)

Hello , I just read your query and from what you describe it appears that you have muscle cramps due to dehydration,I am sure you must be drinking a lot of water but still try to make it 8- 10 glasses per day .
also try warm oil massage on her muscles wherever it paining, you might as well use a hot water bag for warm compress.
Lastly I would suggest her to rest ,try warm baths and a multivitamin tablet would help alongside a paracetamol tablet as when needed.
