General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In the episode of depression this is a normal event. Even if you do not feel like eating, you should try eating even without feeling like it. As the features of depression go, the appetite will gradually return to normal. If you cannot eat meat, then try to eat what you feel like eating. Eventually every thing should be fine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
