Suggest Treatment For Lack Of Bowel Movement In A Bipolar Person
hi. my 21 yr old son is on several meds for bipolar disorder. He stated he has not had a bm in 2 weeks. some constipation off and on in past, but not like this. stool softener taken daily for couple weeks not effective. Just gave him fleets enema and nothing came back out after 10min. He does not have any pain, nausea vomiting or diarrhea. What should be our plan over next few days?

Regarding your son developing constipation that wax and wean following multiple drug treatment for bipolar disorder I will suggest a slight reduction in the dosing of the bipolar drugs and continue the prescribed medication for the constipation
Alternatively he can be given the following Tablet ducolax suppository along with other medications
