Suggest Treatment For Large Boils Near Underarm, Enlarged Spleen And Liver
Help, my wife, age 50, has had bouts with mrca for years. 1st it started in her armpit area where the boils were lanced and drained. Antibiotics were given. Now she had to be hospitalized to remove the boil/boils under her arm. It left her with a hole the size of a golf ball to heal (wet-to-dry). The next week a growth began to appear on the side of her breast. Again another trip to surgery for her breast. Now another gaping hole left to heal wet to dry. Her white blood cell count has bottomed out. Her liver and spleen are enlarged. She now has severe stomach pain not due to antibiotics. She has lost 15 pounds. She doesnt even weigh 100 lbs. Many blood tests have been taken including bone marrow which came up negative. She stays sick everyday. I dont know what to expect anymore. What is happening with my wife? Is is possible that one of those MRCA sores is growing in her stomach.
Recurrent MRSA infection suggests low immunity in your wife. I suggest you consult your surgeon for treatment of these recurrent infections and also to get HIV testing. HIV is one of the causes of low immunity.
