Suggest Treatment For Large Hematoma On Calf After Injury

My husband hurt his leg and has a large hematoma on the inside of his calf, it is red and very hard, he has had an antibiotic shot and is taking augmentin it isn t too painful, there is one place that has blood blisters and oozes some, is there anything else that can be done to speed up healing?

He could take analgesics like diclofenac for pain relief.

You could also give cold compresses.

However, please consult your doctor to rule out deep vein thrombosis which is a serious complication.
