Hi, over the past week I have had two large indentations form in my head. From my hairline to about an inch and a half or so in length. They are located either side of middle of my head, about half an inch apart. Any ideas. its almost in the spot where the nose pieces of my sunglasses sit when on the top of my head Thanks Kirsty
Hello, Thanks for the concern. According to history it is found accidentally by you in front of head. It was no present before so it might be separation of midline suture and there can be indentation. There can be many causes of it like may be deficiency of calcium, erosion of skull bone, hypervitaminosis a, etc. For that you have to do blood profile which include calcium level and vitamin a. You should go for xray of skull bone, ct and MRI head and immediately consult neurosurgeon for further management. Take care
