Suggest Treatment For Large Pus Pocket Under Lower Eyelid
I have a large pus pocket under my lower eye lid, painful, swelling, redness on outside, itchy. I get this occasionally but never this bad. In the past I have taken valtrex and it goes away within a couple of days, however I have taken valtrex for the last four days with no sign of relief. I used the hot and cold compresses today and it took away most of the swelling but the pus pocket is still there. I have keflex, should I be taking that instead?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is really pus formation then it need to be drained and then antibiotic can be taken, without draining the pus medicine could turned the lesion into antibioma and care need to be taken for this, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
