Suggest Treatment For Large Red Welts On Abdomen, Arm And Knee

I have just found three large red welts or moles on my body. One on my stomach, one on my right side under my arm and one above my knee on the back part of my leg. I am have had these now for two to three weeks and they are not getting any better. Further they are now larger than before. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The lesions need to be examined and seen for any tendency or signs of being premalignant or any neoplastic tendencies and may need to have biopsy of the lesion. Treatment should be based on histopathology but plastic surgeon review may be needed afterwards for surgical resection if needed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
