Suggest Treatment For Left Sided Headache And Vision Loss In The Right Eye

Hi I have had a headache for 3 weeks. It is either in my loeft forehead, left temple, or along the left side of my nose. My dr gave me Rx for amoxicillin and I took it all up. Still have headache, much worse at night when I am horizontal. The last 4 days vision in my RIGHT eye has been off. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

this could be an inflammation of the main optic nerve which is the nerve for vision and it can occur after a infection . you need to urgently see a Retina specialist for this and he will start you on steroids and you should be okay if that is the case.
