Suggest Treatment For Leg Pain

I fell on the ice last winter and it has been bothering me more and more, lately. I saw a doctor, but I also saw him for bloating. Therefore, he gave me water pills and didn t really address my leg pain. Now the leg is bothering me more and more. Especially if I m on it a lot.

Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Leg pain after fall might be due to any kind of
- Sprain or Ligament Injury
- localised inflammation
- a torn or overstretched muscle
- Hairline crack in the bone
-tendinitis
- overuse

I advice you to,
- Analgesics (acetaminophen) + Seropeptidase + antacid thrice daily
- Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin as they might slow down the healing process
- Thrombophob gel for local application
- Bed rest & Ice pack ( pain & swelling)
- Elevation
- Check Xray of affected leg

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
