Suggest Treatment For Lichen Sclerosus Leading To Severe Pain

Dear Dr, I have just been diagnosed with Lichen sclerosus, which has developed over a period of years, and had numerous UTI s, and I got diagnosed last Friday. I am ex nurse, prescribed Antroquoril .02%. Worked for 24 hrs now I am in such pain, cannot sit at all, have 2-3 bowel motions per day and after am in agony, have also applied Advantan Fatty Ointment .1% for something else and have applied sparingly. Is this condition permanent, what can I be prescribed to aid the most dreadful pain ever!????? I live in Australia on a small island and hve not had a biopsy, what help can you advise. I am seeing Dr tomorrow, Friday at 10.30am. I honestly cannot take the constant pain. Help please. Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the lichen sclerosus pain is related to possible neurological tissue invasion or from scarring of extensive tissue fibrosis. Best pain relief can be obtained with intake of tramadol hydrochloride with acetaminophen to be consumed after meals with antacid tablets or syrup. In refractory cases, one may require a laser ablation or excision biopsy of particular segment of sclerosus part.
