Suggest Treatment For Light Bleeding During Pregnancy

My Wife is 9 Weeks Pregnent. We travelled long distance Flights and during that time, She walked a lot. We say some blood and that is still going on. We consulted a Gyne. Dr and he gave her Proluton Depot 250 mg for 3 continue days and said the bleeding should stop. Today is the third day and she will get the Injection in 3 hrs time but light bleeding hasnt stopped. Please Adv.

35 Years old, 155 CMS tall and She has Octopic pregnency before. We have a Son who is 6 years old.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy can be due to:
1. Ectopic pregnancy
2. Haemorrhage around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
3. Threatened abortion
Ultrasound can diagnose these situations. Ectopic pregnancy is very unlikely at 9 weeks pregnancy without the symptoms of pain abdomen.
Proluton injection is progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for foetus. It is generally given in bleeding in early pregnancy.
In the meantime, your wife should avoid heavy exercises, lifting heavy objects and avoid intercourse.
