General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

It is possible that it is a tension headache from being overtired with all the stress of thinking and not eating well. However, in that location, it can also be some sinus congestion, but if you have no nasal discharge or throat symptoms then this is less likely. A simple paracetamol 1000 mg every 6-8 hours as needed will help with the headache while you get some rest.

Be careful with skipping meals, because it will make the acidity worse. Try to at least just snack when it is meal time even if you have no appetite or no time. Medication wise, a simple magnesium trisilicate syrup may help, or if you desire something stronger then try something like ranitidine or omeprazole.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Teh
