Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
was told that lipoma on my ankle is the result of my body trying to heal the torn tendon; lipoma occured 12 hrs after tendon tear. was told that once tendon is repaired, the lipoma *might* shrink on it's own, but it might not too. Why would the body cause a lipoma next to a tear in tendon? Since the lipoma is a fatty tissue, what would it have to do with the torn tendon? Thank YOU!
