Suggest Treatment For Long And Heavy Menstruation

I am 24 years old and I had my periods going on for almost a month in a lighter way, it stopped for 6 days and I again got my cycle on the 7th day as I used to get before. With too much flow and extreme stomach pain. Can anyone suggest a medicine for this?

Hello

Thank you for posting at HCM.

MC going on for almost a month, and cycle again in 6 days at 24 yrs of age points to worrisome pathology in most cases.

In such cases we need more case history, like how much is too much flow? Are you sexually active? Did you take any hormonal pills etc?

In any case this requires extensive investigations in the form of Abdominal USG, Estrogen, Progesterone blood levels etc. We will not advise you to go for self medication, as this can be due to Fibroids or ovarian pathology.

Kindly visit a gynec and she should be able to address the issue better.

Feel free to reply in case of any other queries.
Thank you
