Suggest Treatment For Loose Motions And Fever In A Child

hi sir my son 2.2 years old, last 2 days back night he got severing and fever about 101 then i have given mefal-p syrup next day we went to pediatrician he sais it is viral fever take 4ml of meftal-p thrice in day but my given four times in day is there any effect on motion( previous he has litely loose motion also)
