Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Appetite For A 3-year-old
My daughter 3 years old doesnt eat properly and also doesnt want to drink water.he also does not sleep of her own. We need one to two hours to make her sleep.though her height and weightis ok and she is active also.kindly tell me some way to make her eat and sleep properly.
If the child is growing and developing well and she active and playful as usual it means she is actually taking in enough food and fluids for her daily needs. Only if she is not growing well or she is more tired, you will need to worry. On the other hand, to help with her eating habits, let her feed herself, involve her in the preparation of her food and also have her sit with you to eat meals. This means she eats her breakfast when you do and she does so on the same table you eat. This will develop good eating habits for her.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
