Blood pressure has been very low and I ve been dizzy. Taking Sartan, Diltazem, Metropolol and Amidodarone. Are the combination too strong or do they overlap. I ve almost fainted several times since I started Sartan. Blood pressure 80/60, etc. I m 82.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. You should do heart ultrasound and check heart arrythmias since these are most common causes of low blood pressure. ALso, some hormonal imbalance may be cause as well, especially estrogen and thyroids hormones. So you need to to do more extensive work up.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
