Suggest Treatment For Low BP When Diagnosed With Chronic Heart Failure

My mother was recently diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure and was put on a beta blocker and water pill. She weighs 98lbs and normally has low blood pressure. She is very weak and gets tired only walking 50 feet. This has all accursed within a 2 week period. She just took her blood pressure and it was 105/55. Is this low? What should we worry about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi, well heart failure has symtoms like that, her presion is low/normal but all depends of previous usual bp it's usual that the person that begins with beta blockers or any other antihypertensive begins with that symptoms too , must to spend some time till she starts to tolerate the medicine, in that cases i would recommend to visit your physician and question about if it is necesary to change to a lower dose for a while but you must remember that get tired when walk is a primary symptom of heart failure
