Hello,

The low-grade fever you have been experiencing for the last 3 1/2 weeks (3 weeks later after the surgery), should be further investigated.

If it has been persisting continuously, you need a series of blood tests to determine the right diagnosis, plus a urine analysis.

Next, if the fever is intermittent, then, could be due to:
- physical therapy following surgery
- a frequent viral infection.

To me, should follow up with orthopedic specialist and neurologist, and get examined by them in order to rule out respective serious problems.

Magnesium supplement together with vitamin B complex therapy can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
