Suggest Treatment For Low Sodium Level In The Body

I have Siadh and was wondering if I should consult an Endocrinologist for an opinion? The low sodium is now treated with a saline drip in the hospital and the drug Samsca administered while in the Hosp. It seems that this treatment is not getting me to far with this condition. Please, any advice would be helpful. Thank You....

Hi,

Yes, you should consult an endocrinologist. He will suggest various tests to find the cause of SIADH. If cause is treatable, let it be treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
