Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Bloating, Pain And Constipation

For the last 5 days I have felt lower abdominal bloating and discomfort-seems to increase throughout the day, wake up have 2-3 normal colored explosive stools (not liquid), feel better. usually feel better after eating something, head fuzzy, having hot flushes ( I m female,63 have not experienced hot flashes for a long time). Waxes and wanes throughout the day, feel very weak-dragging myself around. I am usually very healthy with tending more toward constipation. Did have episode 31/2 weeks ago that seemed to be all the S/sx of CP- I had severe onset of severe pain across upper back, mid epigastric pain, flushes of dullness up both sides of my head and very slight nausea. Resolved in about 45 min. Had EKG and Stress test, both normal in fact scored on stress test about the level of a moderately healthy 35 yo., all lab work was normal.

Hello,

Since you are in menopausal phase, you are experiencing flushing that waxes and wanes. It is normal physiological change every woman experiences, nothing to worry. As the body adjust with the hormonal changes you will feel better. Increase the intake of minerals & lean protein in your diet. Take vitamin E rich food or supplements to stay fit and healthy.

Abdominal bloating is commonly due to constipation, gastritis, IBS, acid reflux, taking food that is allergic to you, spicy oily junk food, skipping meals, not maintaining proper food intake timing, etc. You are suggested to stay well hydrated, avoid constipation and take laxatives at bed time to avoid bloating / gastritis. Take food in proper time, take home made nutritious food, berries, veggies and whole cereals that are well cooked. Do not take anything raw, it will trigger bloating.

Take antacids and PPIs to avoid bloating. Take fiber rich food. Stay active, avoid sedentary life. Since you fell weal you are suggested to get a complete medical check up done to detect any developing pathology, You will be treated accordingly. Avoid stressful lifestyle and addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
