Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain And Flatulence
My partner and I have vaginal intercourse at 7:30am MST this morning. Almost immediately after, I started experiencing very sharp pelvic/lower abdominal pain. I am still experiencing this pain at 4:15pm MST. It hurts walk, use the restroom (sharp pain in the peliv/lower abdominal area while urinating or during a BM), and to change position, even slightly. I took two gas relief pills at 12:30pm because it feels as if I have air/gas trapped in my lower abdomen. There has been constant gurgling and some flatulating. The pain has gotten to the point where I am contemplating going to see a doctor, but everything I have read on this says that it will go away.

Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain And Flatulence
Hello, There are several causes for lower abdominal pain. For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with gastroenterologist for detailed clinical examination. He may procure ultrasound abdomen or computed tomography abdomen, complete hemogram, stool analysis, Colonoscopy as per evaluation. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. Mean while, for pain you can take tablet acetaminophen, dicyclomine after physician consultation. Take hygienic food and water. Take soft food. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam Kale Family and general physician
