Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain And Abdominal Cramps

I am 49, I have given birth to 4 babies all healthy. I usually have a period every 2 to 3 weeks and very heavy. I have indometrious, and believe I am going through menopause. I have not had a period in 3 months, but I am having a lot of lower back pain, and some cramping and pressure on my lower left side of my stomach. I have an apt with my dr. in 10 days. but not sure what to think. I did have my tubes cut and burnt over 20 yrs ago.

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Most low back pain goes away on its own in two to four weeks. Physiotherapy and pain relievers can help. A few cases may require surgery. Medications, Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, Analgesic, Muscle Relaxant, and Narcotic, Self-care, Heating pad and Physical exercise, Therapies, Joint manipulation, Stretching, Physical Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Monish De, Oncologist
