Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain For A 77-year-old Male
My father (77 yrs old) is telling me that he is having pretty strong lower back pain and pains in stomach center and towards left side of body . This started yesterday after eating a fast food burrito. He threw up with in 2 hours of eating the burrito. He had a bowl of cereal for dinner and did not vomit. However when he had a bowl of cereal this morning he did vomit again. He says that the pains have continued all day today. He was able to eat some chicken soup for lunch today but the pains are still strong. He also took some Malox this morning. He says there is no pain in chest or arm. I told him to make sure he eats only bland foods until things settle down. Does this sound like typical food poisoning?
no it doesnt seem to be food poisoning,I think he should have some laboratory tests and ultrasound abdomen to diagnose his condition.if the vomiting continue you have to consult his doctor quickly to avoid electrolyte imbalance.
