I have been resting now for almost 5 days putting hot packs, Move cream for the muscles & Brestaflam for pain relieve. A couple of days I was feeling much much better so I started to go out to finish some errands, so today I woke up in deep lower back pain again & unfortunately it s not doing any better. The pain is now concentrated on both side hip bones Please what can I do to releave the pain?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. The possibilities of your pain syndrome can be due to osteoarthritis of hip joints or sacro iliac joint arthritis or sciatica. A physical examination by orthopedician will be helpful to rule out the condition. X ray examination of lumbo sacral spine and bilateral hip joint might be required to confirm this also. If you were my patient with such condition then I would recommend taking NSAIDs like aceclofenac muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine and neurotropic drugs. I also advise to have physiotherapy like TENS. You can also do hot fomentation at home. Avoid hard physical exertion and lifting heavy weights. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
