Hello, my back was hurting me alot and then I went to orthopedic and he wrote dorsolumbar spine-ap and lat ,i did my blood test as well and my vitamin d was low as well, by the way Iam 21 years old and female i usually have low back pain and cant sleep properly
If your vitamin D level was low, you should take vitamin D supplements (400 Ui- 800Ui a day).
Also, you may benefit from a visit with a physiotherapist so you can have some exercises to relieve muscle spasms and also strengthen the core muscles to prevent back pain.
Pain killers such as ibuprofen and paracetamol can be used for the pain as well.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
