Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

I am a 67 yo female with lower back pain that has been getting worse over the last 10 years. I can no langer stand for more than 5-10 minutes at a time, and a lot of common household chores must now be done from a sitting position. Four days ago I was finishing up the canning process of 55# of beets for the season. The work required a lot of bending and twisting. And I m afraid the repetitive motions have stimulated an acute extreme flare up of pain in the very lower back and right hip. What can I DO to get some relief other than just take ibuprophen 2-3 times a day?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the chronic condition of back pain then under lying cause of this is need to be known if this is the chronic one then it could be due to spinal degenerative disease or it could be due to PID, and to confirm these better to get done the MRI otherwise pain can be managed with any NSAID like Ibuprofen hope this information helps.
