Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

I m 25 now and been having lower back pain for a few years now. In 2007 I was involved in a car accident where we rolled a car 5 times and got ejected from the vehicle and ever since then the pain has slowly worsened but was manageable for awhile but now it hurts to sit or stand for long periods of time, and the pain lessens when I lie down but doesnt fully go away. I ve used tylenol and ibuprofen for awhile and it used to help but it doesn t help much anymore. What could be the cause of my pain and how can I fix it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The causes of pain may be related to the previous history of back trauma.
I can suggest you visit the orthopedic doctor and do an x-ray of the lumbar spine to see its conditions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
