Suggest Treatment For Lower Right Abdominal Pain While Having IBS

I have IBS. Episodes usually last a few days. This one has lasted a week and my lower right abdomen, where almost of my pain is located, is inflammed. Nearly double the size of my left side. I ve been taking ibuprofen for it but doesn t seem to be working.

Hello,

You have intense pain in the right side lower abdomen, so it might be inflamed appendix as well.

I suggest you investigate with ultrasonography of the abdomen to check the status of the appendix. If it is inflamed than antibiotics need to be given.
