Suggest Treatment For Lower Right Abdominal Pain

I am having pain in my right side and down into my ovaries. My abdomen feels distended and I have been needing to use the bathroom approx. every 40 min to an hour. It s not diarrhea but very soft and loose. I had a partial hysterectomy approx. 18 mos ago due to severe endometriosis but have since discovered that I now have endometriosis in my colon and still have a monthly cycle with severe pain through my colon. Typically the system will pass in a few days, however my cycle is not due again until around the 7th July and I have had these pains for 4 days now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Frequency of urination can be part of urinary tract infection, pelvic inflammatory issue, gravels or calculus in the urinary system or else.

Kindly get an ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis done for best possible evaluation and further guidelines of care.

Till that time, drink plenty of liquids, tablet diclofenac or dicyclomine for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
