HELLO THR MY DIET DOCTOR TOLD ME MY ENZYMES ARE 130... IM 33 YEARS OLD.. I DO SMOKE POT OFTEN AND USED TO DRINK OFTEN BUT NOT AS MUCH NOW.. I ALWAYS TAKE DIFFERENT DIET PILLS..WAT IS YOUR SUGGESTION TO HELP LOWER MY ENZYMES?? I GO BCK NEXT WK FOR FURTHER TESTIN.. THANKX

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have not mentioned which enzymes elevated. ....

Mostly you are talking about elevated liver enzymes ....like sgpt or sgot...

Cause for it should be searched .....

Alcohol can affect liver so should be avoided ....

Investigate with USG abdomen for fatty liver and gall stone ....

Some good food for liver taken like .....
-carrot
-spinach
-Indian gooseberry
-dandelion
-grape juice
-apple
-avocados etc....

Meanwhile if needed serological testing for hbsag and HCV done if history of blood transfusion or unprotected sexual intercourse...

Consult physician if needed ..
