Suggest Treatment For Lump On Back After An Accident
I was in a car accident and have been in physical therapy for a little over a month now and they found a lump on my back belt..I had a planned doctors appointment Monday, but am curious to what this lump could possible be. My therapist said to also go for a MRI.
Welcome at HCM I have gone through ur query and being ur physician I completely understand ur health concerns..... Have u hurt at that part of back? Was that area tender ? Is it a new swelling? What is its colour normal skin colour or red? And limb weakness? Based upon your history it is difficult to diagnose .it may be a hematoma or lipoma. It could be an abscess too. You should be seen by your doctor for proper management... MRI in my opinion is not indicated until and unless you have got any limb weakness and fever history like tuberculous cold abscess... Go meet your doctor... Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Regards Dr Saad Sultan
