My grandaughter is 17 years old and her baby is due 11/06. They are wanting to induce labor because they say her placenta isn t working? also maybe do a c section because she hasn t dialated yet? is it because she isn t ready??? just asking...also they have a biopsy scheduled because of a lump they found in her breast. My daughter, her mother just passed away with Glioblastoma (38). Can her milk be dried up and causing this lump?
Hello dear I understand your concern Following are the causes of the lump in the breast: Fibroadenoma, mastitis/breast abscess, fibrocystic breast disease, breast cancer and lipoma. Fibronodular appear and feeling and mobile mass suggests fibroadenoma. Solid and fix suggests cancer. Physical examination followed by USG scan along with FNAC (histopathology) will help to find the exact cause. If FNAC is inconclusive then best is excision biopsy. So consult the general surgeon for proper management. Hope this may help you
