Last night I noticed two small lumps located on what appears to be a vein located on the inner side of lower leg while placing lotion on. As I continued to apply lotion, I immediately became aware of two separate, somewhat larger and more painful, lumps located immediately beneath the small vein lumps. At first I thought it was just one larger lump but there is a distinctive separation between the two. The pain in the larger two is able to be felt with a simple brushing of area. It is very similar to a severe bruising however no bruising is visible. When I awoke this morning the area had begun to throb and has been doing so throughout the day. Ice and heat have both been applied, but with little affect. I can come up with no explanation for their immediate appearance nor the painfulness of the lumps. I have had no accident nor been involved in any strenuous activity to bring about such a result. My only concern is that I have history of cancer, diagnosed stage 4 cervical nearly 5 yrs ago and have history of other ailments as well. Not able to get in to see dr for two weeks and am wondering if I may be in need of seeking attention prior to then? Thank you.
